Date Field Keys

To make it easier for users to quickly accurately enter dates, we've borrowed from Quick Books the method of entering a letter to signify a date.

Today   Enter T for Today's date

Year   Enter Y for the first day of the displayed Year, and R for the last date of the displayed year. If the date is blank, it will be changed to the first or last day of the current year.

Month   Enter M for the first day of the Month or H for the last day of the month. If the date is blank, it will be changed to the first or last day of the current month.

Week   Enter W for Monday of the Week or K for the last day of the week. If the date is blank, it will be changed to the first or last day of the current week.

And we've added a few features of our own:

F3   Displays a calendar. Double-click the appropriate calendar date to display it.

Up or Down Arrow   Moves the date forward or back one day.

PgUp or PgDn   Advances or backs up the date by a week.
