Wouldn't it be nice to communicate instantly with thousands of prospects, voters or donors?  Send us your database and within a few days that's precisely what you'll be doing. 

For less than the cost of a postage stamp, you can acquire someone’s email address.  And write them forever for free.

The process is explained below.  In the past we've matched up to 18 percent of a database with deliverable e-mail addresses.  The cost: 13 cents per e-mail match, with a minimum order of $700.  On a voter database of 100,000 names, we'll find about 10,000 e-mail addresses at a cost of $1,300.    If the number of returned email addresses doesn't reach the minimum, you still might find the price still a bargain.  (see chart below).

At 50 cents a package, it costs $1.50 to send a person three pieces of "snail mail."  If you have his or her e-mail address, the cost is virtually zero!  That's a $60,000 savings off the price of mailing to the average Congressional district's voter file.

Once you have a person's verified e-mail address, it costs you nothing to communicate.  Instantly.  The cost of e-mail matching is recovered on your first mass-mailing because you can send the same message to a person's e-mail box for free!

The Process

Your file is matched against various databases.  After an e-mail match is found for a corresponding physical address, your letter (see sample below) is e-mailed to the individual.  In the letter you ask for his or her permission to communicate via e-mail and offer the option to opt-out. After allowing 5-7 business days for all responses, final numbers will be calculated measuring the opt-ins, excluding undeliverable and opt-out e-mails.

During the data collection process, subscribers voluntarily disclose their personal information, and have access to view a privacy policy stating that their information could be shared with third parties that have "customer relationships" with the individual.  At the completion of the e-mail appending process, the enhanced file is returned to you with successfully-deliverable e-mail addresses.

Match Percentage 

Up to 26 percent, depending on the list. The average is about 18 percent.  Donor and contact databases typically achieve higher match rates.  Voter database return lower match rates.

Turn-around time

Three to seven working days, depending on how long you'd like to give people the chance to opt out.  The opt-out letter must be sent because otherwise we need to give invalid e-mail addresses a chance to "bounce."  That way you're getting only confirmed, deliverable e-mail addresses.

Price

Thirteen cents per email record returned.  The minimum order is $900, which means that your file must be large enough (60,000 to 70,000) to qualify for the 13-cent rate.  Otherwise, the rate is higher.  Use the chart below to determine what works for you.   If your file is small, think about collecting more lists, i.e. voter files and fund-raising prospects, to include in your submission.

If you give us 100,000 records and 15 percent are matched, that equals 15,000 matches for $1,300.  We can do a pre-match that will let us know about how much the cost will be.
